Our services



We’re small but we are among the best. We have worked with and for many large Danish companies and consulting companies, shifting between financial services, telecommunications and transport operators. We have undertaken various roles in some of the biggest IT projects in Denmark. We like to shift between “hands-on”, such as working with testing, people change management, software evaluation and “strategic roles” such as strategic advisor, steering committee member, merger strategy and IT strategy. By shifting back and forth we can make plans that are based on feasibility and the ability to execute rather than on lengthy and costly evaluations.


One of our specialities is “Project Review”. We help you asses and validate that an ongoing project is on track. We make sure to provide you with suggestions that are practical and effective, regardless of whether the project is healthy or in need of new thinking.

The term means making very quick inferences about the state, characteristics or details of an individual or situation with minimal amounts of information.”



IT Strategy



Development or refinement of your IT strategy. We have a method in place for documenting business strategy and the "as-is" foundation to uncover options in order to refine the strategy and begin planning and implementing.


We are aware of common challenges and risks regarding the development of an IT strategy- and perhaps most importantly-we know what's important for implementation. We don't need to boil the ocean for a cup of tea.


The typical duration is 12-16 weeks from mobilization with a team of 4-10 people and executive support. The duration mostly depends on the comprehensiveness of business strategy and the ability to prioritize and mobilize.



Project & Program Management



Project or program management - from scoping and strategy to planning and execution. We take pride in being able to lead and ensure progress - and we have the references to prove it.


We have had the pleasure of providing a "Program Director" for several of the larger projects in Denmark. We have worked with IT projects for the last 20+ years, and even if technologies change, the challenges are remarkably similar.


We have developed and adjusted methodologies, we’re PRINCE2 and PMI certified, and we have worked with mixed teams - waterfall and agile go hand in hand more often than one would think. The mix is often advantageous.



Core Transformation



Upgrading or replacing core software is as amazing and fantastic as it can be disappointing and troublesome. Vendor promises can often be difficult to achieve, and it is easy to focus on the details and stray away from the realization of benefits.


We have a lot of experience with SAP S/4 HANA and Sapiens IDIT in addition to a lot of other technologies. Any system landscape is a myriad of everchanging components and trends, and it is important to be able to assess and utilize new as well as old technologies & sourcing models.

Testing



All projects with IT are heavily dependent on a good test strategy and even more dependent on a good test team. This is true regardless of whether testing is carried out by the vendor or customer, or perhaps a third party.


Testing is expensive and labour intensive and often not very satisfying – if everything works, it feels like a waste of money, and if nothing works, it often becomes a “kill the messenger” type of story. However, balanced correctly, it puts you in control of quality.


We can help you write a test strategy that matches your needs. As little and agile as possible, whilst still providing an effective measurement of quality and status. We are happy to manage the whole test phase with a balanced use of internal and external resources.



Transition to Agile



Everybody wants to be agile. Agile is perhaps the most abused word of the late 2010s and frankly it is often used for bullshit bingo.


Having said that, agile methodologies come with great benefits, and the way of working is useful for many project types. But refrain from blindly following advice from those that claim it solves all problems.


Agile methodology allows you to react must faster to a rapidly changing world, and at its best you become more flexible, faster and able to continuously monitor and improve quality and results.

People Change Management



IT projects are always about people. There are many ways of including people in projects, whether by focusing on overcoming resistance, creating needs, or changing the culture. There is a plethora of available tools and methods, and the need for people change management is often underestimated or started late, which in turn may jeopardize the benefit realisation.


We have worked extensively with the methodology “ADKAR” and recommend it for many types of projects. The consistent use of measurements and practical action plans makes it a lot easier to navigate – and often it is possible to manage with a relatively small team.
